Language Culture and Carnival

Today activity is we have to go to Language Calture and Carnival that have been held for three days. This carnival are held at Sri Laksamana and at the speaker corner. There are a few of booth that has been open at Sri Laksamana to sold many of food such as sandwich, toast bread, garlic bread and others. Our lecturer, miss Zu also join this program. Miss Zu sold some of sandwich, garlic bread, macarony and others. We decide to ask miss Zu about the recipe of making a sandwich.

Tuna Sandwich and Egg Sandwich

Ingredient

·         Tuna mayonesse

·         Seasoning

·         Salt

·         Pepper

·         Egg

·         Cucumber

·         Tomatoes

How to make it

·         Firstly, boil some egg and make sure it hard enough

·         Stir it off and then smash 10 eggs

·         Put some pepper, salt, seasoning and chillies. Stir it off

·         Put in bread and put some of cucumber and tomato

      Cut it into 2

Next, we went to English Language Society booth at speaker corner. This is some information that i got there.

127 hours is about one guy, Aron Ralston who went for an adventure to Utah in USA. Advanture has become his hobby since he was small. So, he believes that he can have a great adventure for himself. One day, while he was climbing a mountain suddenly Aron was fall and a small boulder was crashed on his arm.

                Aron Ralston have tried for many ways to rescue himself but he failed. With a small knife he tried to cut a small boulder but he know that with a kind of knife he will not succed. Next, he tried to lift the stone using his gear and rope but nothing happen. For five days, Aron Ralston tried to survive with a little water and without food.

                 Aron Ralston hade done many things for five days stuck at the Utah. He made so many video and watch his old video. Throughout his video, he remembered his family, lovers and friend. His old memories is still vivid in his mind. Finally, Aron Ralston decided to just cut off his arm to survive.

                I think this is a good movie to watch as it have shown a good characteristic to us. The moral of this story is we should tell someone wherever we go. Next, we must try for the best to survive without giving up. In addition, we have to be courage to face all the risk that will happen.

                Based on the moral story that I have given, I think this is a good choice of movie to watch. It is also suitable for people from many age whether kids, teenager or old people.  So, you must watch this movie!!!!

For the second class of this week, we are given a task to act by following all P.Ramlee movies. We are separate into 5 group and 5 members in one group. My group members is Faten Najihan, Nurul Syahirah, Nur Atiqah and Auf Dinie. After discuss, we all decide to act in one film of P.Ramlee on title of Laksamana DO RE MI. For the third week, we begin the first class with writing an essay. We learnt to write about character writing. We have to find a picture of one person who is an artist and write about her/his life, their character and all about him/her but we have to use our own character that we likes and not the original character of the artist. As miss Zu give us a few hours to complete the essay, so I decide to use a picture of Mazlan that I got from one magazine on title of Mangga.

This is the first day I get into BEL260 class. I feel very excited to know who is our lecturer. After a few minutes, our BEL260 lecturer arrived. She is miss Zuraidah Binti Sumery.
